How to delete in the app

1. Open the Absenta app and sign in.
2. Students: open Profile, scroll down, tap Delete Account.
3. Parents: on the dashboard, open the account menu, then Delete Account.
4. Admins: on the dashboard, open the Danger Zone section at the bottom, then Delete my account.
5. Read the consequences, enter your account password to confirm, then tap Delete permanently.

Once confirmed, you are signed out immediately and the login token on that device is revoked — the account can no longer be used.

Can't sign in? Request via the web

If you cannot open the app (forgotten password, new phone, or already signed out), request deletion by email:

1. Email admin@aplikasitoko.com with the subject Absenta account deletion request.
2. Include your full name, username / student ID (NISN), role (student / parent / admin), and school name.
3. We verify your identity against school records, then process the deletion within 30 days and reply to that email when done.

Data deleted immediately

• Your face data (base photo and biometric data) — deleted from the server and from the app.
• Login data on the device — you are signed out immediately and cannot sign in again.

Data retained temporarily

Attendance history, sick/permission requests, and internship logs are official school records — they are not erased instantly so class recaps stay intact. They are kept without your identity until at most the end of the current academic year + 1 year, then permanently deleted. Earlier erasure can be requested through the school admin office with a written reason under Indonesia's PDP Law No. 27 of 2022.

Deleted by mistake?

Accounts deleted from the app are deactivated first, not erased instantly. Contact the school admin office within 30 days for recovery; after the retention period, deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
